A boutique biotech hedge fund ($750M AUM) in San Francisco, CA, contacted Kinney Recruiting for assistance recruiting a Senior Compliance Counsel. The fund currently has a small but mighty team of investment professionals with a long track record of making smart and lucrative investments in Silicon Valley and beyond. The team is looking for an experienced attorney with four (4) or more years of big law or in-house experience in securities law. Beyond the obvious requirements (JD from a nationally ranked US law school, admission to the CA bar), the candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to be part of a small team, and desire to leave the grind of law firm life.  Target base compensation is between $175k to $225k with an annual bonus expectation of 50-100% of base.  To learn more, please send your resume or send a note to [email protected].
