iManage

iManage recently announced a strategic growth investment from Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, to accelerate its organic growth and the continued evolution of its cloud-based, AI-enabled knowledge work platform.  iManage will continue to operate under the leadership of the existing management team, led by its CEO and co-founder Neil Araujo.

The minority investment by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities will help iManage build on the increasingly important role it plays enabling knowledge-based organizations to work productively, improve information governance, optimize workflow, and collaborate seamlessly. iManage has deeply invested in cloud, governance, AI, and workflow technologies to help serve over 4000 legal, accounting, and financial services organizations in more than 65 countries.

“This is a proud and pivotal moment in iManage’s history. Endorsement by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities is a testament to the strength of the current business we have developed and the potential opportunity to grow and have a lasting impact,” said Neil Araujo, CEO, iManage.

iManage is also pleased to announce that Dean Leung, Executive VP of Digital Enablement and Communities at iManage was named Innovative Leader of the Year at ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Awards ceremony last week. Jack Shepherd, Principal Business Consultant at iManage was also honored as one of the Young Professionals to Watch.

NetDocuments

NetDocuments, the #1 trusted cloud platform where legal professionals do work, has reported record growth in 2022 with momentum continuing into 2023, with over 750 enterprise firms making the switch from top document management competitors or storage solutions to NetDocuments.

Why are 3+ firms per day choosing to leave other popular DMS solutions for NetDocuments? Today, the needs of document management go far beyond securing and organizing files. Firms are increasingly looking for a single platform that enables end-to-end legal document workflows while integrating with critical applications – all underpinned by state-of-the-art security and governance capabilities. NetDocuments is helping firms chart their move to the cloud, whether to accommodate a firm’s overarching “cloud-first” strategy or helping them take initial steps into the cloud at their own pace.

Vincent A. Marin, Sidley Austin’s Global Chief Information Officer, cited priorities integral to their project: “First, we needed to address specific pain points, missing capabilities, features, and functionality not available to us in the previous solution, and second, we followed our strategic direction to increasingly leverage cloud solutions, and work with the product demonstrating the most maturity in the legal tech space with a solid reputation.”

Epona

Epona USA’s Vice President Keith Vallely has been responsible for growing the sales footprint of Epona in North America for the last 12 years. He has seen the market change for legal document management systems over that time. Keith will be sharing his experiences as well as how law firms and corporate legal departments adopted new technologies that became available at consumer prices from Microsoft 365. Further, how the legal document management space changed dramatically with the advent of the COVID 19 crisis, and how this permanently changed the technology landscape.

With Epona’s new technologies, law firms and corporate legal departments are able to utilize the power of Microsoft 365 and quickly deploy a custom legal document management system, wherein the customer maintains security and document storage. This is a completely new paradigm, and the
technological landscape of the future.

A Unified Solution for Legal Professionals to Collect and Preserve Slack Data:

Workflow and communication tools have become critical to maintaining business continuity in the legal industry, where platforms like Slack have become main data sources for ESI disputes and internal investigations. Yet collecting data from collaboration platforms is expensive and cumbersome, and can be difficult to parse through disjointed chats or translate messages into formats that are conducive to effective review.

To mitigate some of these challenges, DISCO unveiled Collect For Slack, a cloud-based feature which helps legal teams seamlessly identify, collect, preview, and promote Slack legal hold data for review, including for litigation, investigations, and compliance. DISCO’s Collect For Slack lets legal departments reduce their dependence on IT, and minimize information governance risks and data storage costs.

ZenCase:

ZenCase, the next generation, cloud-base law practice software that makes everyone’s job easier, recently released its Automated Time Manager™ technology. With ZenCase’s ATM, suggested time entries are created based upon the emails an attorney sends, the documents created, calendar events, and other activities throughout the day. ATM technology works when the lawyer is working in or out of ZenCase and the suggested time entries can be accessed for the previous 30 days.

You can learn about additional time saving functionality like this from ZenCase or scheduled a demonstration at www.zencase.com, or keep up to date on new information on LinkedIn.

ZenCase is a product of Groundswell Productive Solutions, LLC located in Jacksonville Florida.

CosmoLex:

CosmoLex has recently debuted CosmoLex CRM to enhance its complete legal practice management solution. The new, legal-specific CRM (Client Relationship Management) module grants CosmoLex users access to industry-leading client intake and marketing tools like automated text and video messaging, customizable intake forms, and one-click electronic signature acceptance.

CosmoLex has added CRM to their comprehensive legal practice management suite because they know that building a successful law firm starts by building strong client relationships. Most practice management software is not designed with lead management or client interactions in mind and general business CRM tools are not built for the way law firms work.

The launch of CosmoLex CRM helps CosmoLex users eliminate wasted time on manual responses, filing, and data entry. It will help boost your law firm’s marketing communications, streamline your client intake, and gain insight into your business like never before.

All this hard work paid off! Neos was named Best of 2022 in The Legal Intelligencer. We came in #1 in Docketing & Calendaring Solutions, #2 in Case Management Solutions, and were awarded The Legal Intelligencer Hall of Fame award.

We have and will continue to be committed to the success of your firm.

Rocket Matter:

Rocket Matter has made big moves recently to improve its robust practice management software by adding modules that will create a true, complete practice management workstation for legal professionals. The newest additions to Rocket Matter include legal-specific CRM features as well as secure file-sharing and electronic signature.

Rocket Matter’s new client relationship management software (CRM) is designed to help law firms of any size take control of their marketing and client intake. Within Rocket Matter CRM, lawyers can build automated campaigns to bring in new clients and foster strong relationships to keep current clients coming back.

Along with CRM, Rocket Matter’s new secure file sharing and e-signature features (powered by LexShare) let lawyers easily send and receive files within Rocket Matter. With just a few clicks law firms can add custom signature templates to any PDF document, then send them to clients along with instructions and a secure link to upload files back into Rocket Matter.

This expanded functionality builds on Rocket Matter’s industry-leading business intelligence platform. Lawyers will now know even more about their business through Rocket Matter’s custom reports that help analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and keep an eye on office efficiency – data that may alert you to wasteful bottlenecks or reveal hidden opportunities for growth.

TimeSolv:

TimeSolv was recently named by Forbes magazine as the best legal billing software of 2022 for small law firms. The recognition by Forbes cements TimeSolv’s place as the #1 web-based time and billing solution for law firms with unparalleled features allowing efficient and easy tracking of time, invoice generation, and getting paid in full.

To underscore TimeSolv’s reputation as easy to use software, they were also named by G2 Crowd as the #1 legal billing solution for usability. These combined honors from established third-party platforms are a culmination of work over TimeSolv’s 20+ year history creating affordable, practical, and easy to use billing solutions.

Building upon this momentum, TimeSolv also announced a robust integration with Law Ruler CRM. The combined features of TimeSolv and Law Ruler allow a firm to manage their leads, automate marketing follow-up and streamline their intake in one place. Information gets added and updated in one place, one time and flows effortlessly through both systems.
