Role Summary
The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Partner with 8+ years of defense litigation experience in labor & employment. This role is designed for a driven attorney looking to take on complex cases and lead teams without needing to bring a portable book of business. The position offers an exciting leadership opportunity to help build and shape the firm’s employment litigation practice, particularly in California’s high-stakes employment landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sophisticated employment litigation cases, including wage-and-hour class actions, discrimination, and harassment cases.
- Appear and represent clients in both federal and state court proceedings.
- Supervise and mentor a team of attorneys, contributing to strategic case management and development.
- Handle federal and state employment investigations, including defense and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in labor & employment litigation, with proven supervisory and case management skills.
- License: Active California Bar membership.
- Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; capable of handling complex cases with a strategic approach.
- Knowledge: Expertise in state and federal employment laws, with experience in high-stakes employment cases.
