No Century Schoolbook? I thought lawyers liked that font so much that the Supreme Court ruled that it was required (http://www.supremecourt.gov/ctrules/tocounsel_07rulesrevisions.aspx) It is a nice font.

I’m not so sure the font matters as much as the flavor of the delicious pizza you choose to accompany the resume. I think I read that in “What Color is Your Parachute?”

In reply to Lisa Solomon. It's not about what you know, but about how little the reader knows. What if the embedded font is flagged and doesn't make it through their antivirus or something (that actually happens).

In reply to tempcrap. Or, you can show you know what the hell you're doing with tech and embed your chosen fonts in the document (which can be done in both Word and pdf).

It’s not the font that matters but the length of the resume. A half-page resume conveys a better impression than a full-page one.
